Parish Bulletins Schedule: Please have all bulletin inserts into the Parish Centre in writing by 4pm on Tuesdays. Notices by email: identify “Bulletin Notice” in the subject line and sent to [email protected].

Mass time changes – effective immediately, due to our parish priest shortage, the Sunday evening 5 pm mass and the Tuesday morning 9 am mass will be cancelled. Please refer to weekly bulletins for any further changes such as mass locations.

Legion of Mary
Join us in praying the rosary 25 mins. before each Mass during the month of May.

Legion of Mary Prayer Meeting : we meet every Monday 3 pm. in the Parish Centre. New Members are always welcome.

All Legion of Mary Praesidiums have been asked to pray for our Catholic students and their catechists in the Archdiocese of Kingston. There are prayer cards available (while they last) and print outs of the prayer on the counter between the church doors. We invite everyone to pray for the children so that we may flood the heavens!

The Legion of Mary is a prayer group dedicated to the Glory of God through prayer and active ministry under the guidance of Mother Mary. We gather every Monday afternoon at
3 p.m. in the lower level of the parish centre and all are welcome to attend, ladies
and gents alike!
- Do you know someone who would benefit from a visit with one of our teams? If you know such a person, please contact either the Parish Centre or call Mary T.
- The Pilgrim Statue of Mary Home Visitation Program is ongoing. A sign up sheet is in the foyer near the statue. If you are unable to transport the statue yourself, leave a brief note next to your phone number and the Legion of Mary will try to arrange for delivery.
- Reminder, we have a prayer request box in the church foyer. Place your unsigned request in the locked box and we will pray for your intention at our next meeting
Something New! We are putting together an outreach team. Do you know someone who would benefit from a visit? It may be someone who can't get out, or someone struggling to come back to church? We want to help. If you know such a person, please contact either the Parish Centre.

St Vincent de Paul
Our next Meeting will be June, 1:30 pm. PC

Last year through your generous donations we were able to help 57 different households with 71 adults & 66 children. To accomplish this, St Vincent de Paul members meet, in teams of two, with 5 - 12 of our community’s ‘neighbors in need’ per month. We are very much in need of additional members to help with these meetings. Screening is required and training is provided. Reach out if interested, you can contact the parish office 613-392-3767 & a member of St Vincent’s will call you to provide info and answer any questions you might have. Thank you for your prayers and generosity.

The Society of St Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization whose mission is “To live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice and joy”. We are very grateful for the generosity of our parish community.
St Peter’s chapter of the society strives to work in the spirit of the Society’s founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam when he wrote,
“Help honors when, to the bread that nourishes, it adds the visit that consoles, the advice that enlightens, the friendly shake of the hand that lifts up sinking courage when it treats the poor with respect, not only as an equal but as a superior, since he is suffering that which we would perhaps not be able to bear ourselves; since he is among us as the messenger of God, sent to put our justice and charity to the test,
& save us by our works.”
Currently St Peter’s chapter’s work consists of assisting members of our community in need who have contacted the parish office
(613 392-3767). We generally provide one-time assistance with items for setting up a household and food cards.
Interested parishioners are welcome to attend meetings of the St Vincent de Paul Society. Check the church calendar for information .

Knights of Columbus

K of C 4th Degree Tues., May 20th 7 pm @ Parish Centre

Annual K of C Communion Breakfast: All Knights, their wives and widows of Knights of Council 2438 are invited to sign up after Mass for our annual communion breakfast to be held on Sun., May 25. All participants are asked to attend the 9:00 am Mass and to sit together in the reserved pews. Immediately after the Mass, everyone is asked to proceed to the Piper Arms Restaurant to enjoy a breakfast together and listen to our invited special guest speaker. Sign up after Masses ~ May 10 & 11; 17 &18 and at the K of C General meeting in May.
K of C Bottle Drive ~ Mother’s Day – Father’s Day. We help support the Pregnancy and Family Care Quinte West. They help the local families with pregnancy and parenting education, unplanned pregnancy discussions, and works with families who are struggling through addictions, mental health, financial struggles, and housing concerns. Please keep the campaign in your prayers. Donations can be made by E- transfer [email protected] or by filling a baby bottle with cash or a check payable to Pregnancy and Family Care Quinte West.
K of C Yard Sale - Fri., June 20^th and Sat., 21^st.
The intent of the sale to raise money for local charities. If you have good sellable items to donate please contact brother Germain at 613-394-0275.

Allergies and Sensitivites: We have several parishioners who are very allergic to perfume and related products. Exposure can cause health problems, such as breathing difficulties. It would be very much appreciated if everyone would refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, etc. in the Church, Adoration Chapel and the Parish Centre. Thank you!

Building the Domestic Church
You will find a new kiosk in the Church Foyer featuring free exceptional religious education materials courtesy of our Knights of Columbus council. The kiosk has been updated. It contains engaging, faith based literature aimed at helping Catholics to live out the church’s vision for our families. The booklets will be replenished on a regular basis by the Knights.
