Deadlines for inclusion in the Bulletin: Tuesday, March 16th by 4pm.

Eucharistic Chapel of Mary, Mother of The Divine Mercy. Our parish is very blessed to be able to be with Jesus at anytime. The chapel in the Parish Centre is unlocked weekdays from 9am to 4pm. Please use the entrance code outside of this time. If you would like to become a scheduled adorer please call a chapel coordinator at 613-392-8898/1509/1069.

Season of Lent:  i) Soap. The soap basket will be in the Church foyer. The soap, goes to Canadian Food for Children (Dr. Andrew Simone). The need is especially great this year. Info, 613-392-5703. ii) Lenten Prayer Project: Love One Another. The C.W.L. is once again sponsoring a Lenten Prayer Project, continuing until Palm Sunday. Purples crosses will be in the Church foyer; you are asked to wear one, or place it in your pocket/purse. Each Sunday you are asked to exchange your cross for one worn by someone else the previous week. The person represented by that cross is not known to you: simply pray for the cross they have to bear. “Take up your cross and follow Me.”

March 13 & 14 (Sat. & Sun.) all Masses, Sign up for Coach to Chrism Mass. There will be a bus/coach leaving St. Peter’s Church at 5:40pm, returning by 11pm. Sign-up list is on table under library shelf in the Church foyer. A free will offering will be gratefully received from anyone wishing to contribute to the cost of transportation.

March 17 (Wed.) St. Patrick’s Day: God needed laughter in the world, so he made the Irish race, for they can meet life with a smile and turn a happy face.

March 18 (Thurs.) 7pm, “Lent on Tap“, Holy Rosary Church, 169 North Park St., Belleville. Fr. John Hibbard speaks on: Sin & Hell. Do they still exist? Does God punish sinners and who goes to hell?

March 19 (Fri.) Feast of St. Joseph: Patron Saint of Canada.

March 20 & 21 (Sat. & Sun.) all Masses, Share Lent Collection. The Share Lent Collection will be taken up.

March 20 & 21 (Sat. & Sun.) all Masses, The Knights of Columbus will be in the Church foyer after all Masses. Men over the age of eighteen who have three or four hours a month to give to your parish and community are asked to fill out an information card. You will be invited to attend an information meeting on Thurs., March 25.

March 21 (Sun.) 9am-12:30pm, Parish Monthly Breakfast, K of C Hall, 57 Stella Cres. Cost: adults: $6; under 12 years: $3; under six years: free. All you can eat breakfast includes: eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, pancakes, potatoes, cold cereal, coffee, tea, milk, juice.

March 23 (Tues.) 7pm, St. Peter’s Parish Confessions & the Easter Duty, St. Peter’s Church. Serveral priests will be present. This is a good opportunity for all parishioners to fulfill their Easter Duty.

March 26 (Fri.) Deadline to register for April Catholic Marriage Preparation Course.
