Parish Bulletins: Deadlines for bulletin inserts are 4pm, Tuesday. Bulletin inserts should be submitted in writing.

Weekday Masses: 4:30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. 9:00am Thursday. 

Visitors to the Cemetery: Throughout the year, visitors are responsible for their own safety as well as for any damage they may cause.

Eucharistic Chapel of Mary, Mother of The Divine Mercy. The chapel is open Monday – Friday between 6am and midnight. For times out side of this please sign in on the visitors page. Please use the entry code.  People are need to fill the following hours: Wed., 4-5pm, 5-6pm; Thurs., 9-10am; 8-9pm, 10-11pm; Fri., 4-5pm, 11pm – 12am. Can you spin one hour with me? Mount Calvary Cemetery Fund: Thank you to all who have contributed to Mount Calvary Cemetery Fund. A plaque of recognition will be posted listing all the contributors. Would all donors please contact the office during business hours and let us know how you would like the plaque to read. Please note: it is still not too late to donate.

May 20 (Sun.) Flores de Mayo, St. Joseph’s Church, 392 Palace Rd., Kingston. The Filipino Canadian Community is celebrating the 7th year of Flores de Mayo. Rosary, 3pm; Mass, 3:30pm, celebrated by Msgr. Lynch. A reception to follow in the Parish Hall.

May 21 (Mon.) Victoria Day the Parish Centre will be closed for the holiday.

May 25 (Fri.) 6pm, Knights of Columbus TGIF, K of C Hall, a56 Stella Cres. Hosted by John and Marg O’Grady, this will be a “Pot Luck” format. Please attend, bring some food and enjoy a few hands of euchre. Look forward to seeing you there.

May 26 (Sat.) 125th Anniversary Reunion Celebration: St. Edward Catholic School, Westport. Golf, 9am; Open House (School), 3-4:45pm; Mass, 5:15pm; food, fellowship and dance, 6:30pm. Info and & tickets for gold and/or dinner, call Dan (613-273-2926).

May 27 (Sun.) 9am-12:30pm, Monthly Breakfast by Knights of Columbus, K of C Hall, 57 Stella Cres. We have our usual full menu available for your enjoyment. Cost: adults, $7; youth 6-11yrs old, $4; 5 years and under, free. Everyone is welcome.

May 27 (Sun.) 9am – 12noon, Registration for St. Peter’s Parish Vacation Program for Kids Grades JK-6, Parish Centre Room 2. Registration forms have been sent home through the schools and are available in the Church and Parish Centre.

May 27 (Sun.) 1pm, Sacrament of First Communion Mass, for children of St. Peter’s Parish. Children are to be at St. Peter School gym at 12:30pm. Reception in the gym after Mass.

June 3 (Sun.) 2pm, Sacrament of Confirmation Mass. The Sacrament of Confirmation will be conferred by Archbishop Brendan O’Brien. Sponsors & candidates are asked to meet in St. Peter School by by 1:30pm. Everyone is invited to this important parish event and to the reception that follows in St. Peter School gym.

June 5 (Tues.) 6pm, Catholic Women’s League Yearend Potluck & Social, St. Peter School gym. Entertainment by St. Paul Secondary School Jazz band. Please come, bring one of your favourite recipes and enjoy an evening of fun and fellowship.

June 10 (Sun.) 1pm, Knights of Columbus Third Degree Exemplification. All members presently holding a Second Degree are eligible and should take advantage to complete their Third Degree at this time. All candidates should be registered by 12:30pm. No one will be admitted after the start time. Second Degree members are to contact Germain (613-394-0275) or Tom (613-394-5377) to confirm their presence by Thurs., May 31. Dress code: Slacks, shirts, sweater (no jeans).

June 13 (Wed.) 6:30pm, Catholic Women’s League Pie Social, Church Courtyard. The Cold Creek Cloggers will perform followed by the Trenton Citizen’s Band. Donations of pies wold be greatly appreciated. All proceeds towards St. Peter’s Parish Vacation Bible Camp for Children. Everyone Welcome.

June 14 (Thurs.) 7pm, St. Peter’s Parish Men’s Prayer Group First Meeting, Parish Centre. Inserted in last weeks’bulletin was a questionnaire for men interested in establishing a men’s prayer group. Please return your completed survey by dropping it in the collection basket, leaving it in the church foyer or bringing it to the Parish Office, during office hours. June 24 (Sun.) 3pm Mass, Celebration of Archbishop O’Brien’s 25th Anniversary of Episcopal Ordination & 5th Anniversary as Archbishop of Kingston. There will be a reception on the Cathedral lawn following Mass. In recognition of the Archbishop’s milestone anniversaries, this year’s collection for the Education of Seminarians (Priests) will be taken up in his honour June 16 & 17. The proceeds of the collection will be present to Archbishop O’Brien at the Anniversary Mass on June 24.

September 15 (Sat.) 10am – 4pm, Doors Open Quine West. Help need! The City of Quinte West and the Trent Port Historical Society are sponsoring this new event in Quinte West. St. Peter’s Church is one of the sites that was selected. Events that day would involve a static display showing the history of the Church and a chance to tour the church.
